I love that some of you have Sick Puppies lyrics tatooed on you!! They have so many amazing lyrics to their songs and I'm just curious about everyone's favorites. Mine for a long time was from All The Same, "And I'll take you for who you are, if you take me for everything." Since Connect came out I have a new favorite. From Healing Now, "Courage comes from letting go, and loving everything you fear away." What are some of your favorites?

Hmmm...I have lots of favorites...but I think this is still #1 for me...

There are so many! It's hard to choose just one. One of my favs is "Maybe it's time to change, and leave it all behind", because that is something I want to do in my life and can never find the nerve.

I wish that things were still, the way they used to be.

I can't pick one so my top three :

The Changes in me are likely to be like the weather, Stormy and Clear, Strength into fear bound together.

Nowadays everybody's trying to be the latest real real cool hip thing know what I mean.

All of them? On the less serious/deep and meaningful side of lyrics, the entire song "The Bottom" is pretty genius, and I've always been amused by the line "Preach me your religion if you're dumb enough to pray."

But I mean it when I say all of them. Almost every song has a line I absolutely love or connect with. Off the top of my head:

"There's a thousand miles between us as I feel your breath on my skin"
"Cuz you were supposed to be coming back to me, where are you now? I should'v known better"
"It's hard to leave behind the one thing that made me feel alive. So I slide from paranoid to paralyzed"

So hard to choose! But the ones that stand out in my head the most that are meaningful for me are:

"I've never been one to walk alone, I've always been scared to try"

"I'm standing right beside you, screaming in my head. I don't know how to reach you, I shut down instead when all I wanna do is connect with you."

"Don't let someone tell you you're no one."

There are certainly many other good ones though!

This is a hard question 'cause they have so many lyrics that are really great and apply in so many ways.

Since the first time I heard "There's no going back" I've loved the text I put in my signature.
Also the chorus in "Riptide" is awesome. I've really considered getting a tattoo of it, can't really decide where to put it though.

Right now on the other hand I have a new favorite from "No Mercy":

Can't really say why, I just love it.

I also love the part in White Balloons where Shim sings "I've worn a hundred faces of the character replacements and now, nobody sees me". I will keep going back just to hear that part over and over. Not sure what it is about it but I love it.
