MySpace Pimp Your Profile Contest.

Rules/Guidelines

This Contest is open to everyone aged 13 and over across the globe who owns a MySpace page.

This contest revolves around adding Sick Puppies items to your MySpace page. Everyone who puts approved Sick Puppies items onto their Myspace page gets 1 entry into the main drawing for a prize. For future reference in the rules, those who put items on their page will now be known as PROMOTERS.

For every entrant who gets someone else to put something Sick Puppies related on their pages, you will receive 15 points for each person you recruit and an extra entry for every 20 people you recruit. From here on in, those who get people to pimp their pages will be referred to as RECRUITERS.

You can find all the approved SP material . If you create something new that you think should be added considered, please send a link to us and if it is approved, we will add it to for others to use.

If you are not a world crew member, you will not receive any points; you will only receive entry into the main drawing



PROMOTERS:

Please note that PROMOTERS do not have to be World Crew Members.

To be considered as an official entrant, you must place one of these banners on your MySpace page, in the About Me section:

You must also post on the wall of the SPWC contest myspace page () with a subject line that gives the username/name of the World Crew member who got you to pimp your page. You cannot recruit an existing World Crew member.

Once you pimp your page, add the AND the SPWC contest myspace (which can be done once you register on SPWC) to your friends so that we can verify that your page has been pimped and that it stays pimped for at least 30 days.

There is no limit to how many SP items you place on your page, we only require one (feel free to add more). You will also receive bonus points for the amount of SP items you use.

You will receive 10 points for each Sick Puppies item you place on your MySpace page.

If you have already added the SPWC Contest MySpace page to your friends list and then add more SP items to your page, send a message to the contest MySpace to let them know you have made changes so you can get the correct number of bonus points.

RECRUITERS:

RECRUITERS are required to be World Crew members.

Based on how many of your friends you get to add Sick Puppies items on their MySpace pages you will get bonus entries into the drawing. For every 20 friends you recruit, you will receive an extra entry into the drawing. In addition, you will receive 15 points for each person you recruit


Method Of Submission/Entry

You must fulfill ALL of these requirements to be considered:

For PROMOTERS

1. Add Sick Puppies item(s) to your MySpace page

2. Add either of these Entrant Banners to your About Me section.





3. Add SPWC contest MySpace to your friends list

4. Post on the SPWC contest Myspace wall regarding the username/name of the person who got you to pimp your page.

For RECRUITERS

1. Be a World Crew Member

2. Add SPWC Contest MySpace AND the SPWC MySpace to your friends list.

3. Encourage others to promote Sick Puppies on their MySpace pages and have them follow the rules for PROMOTERS

For PROMOTERS and RECRUITERS:

You receive points for the amount of items you place on your MySpace page and for encouraging others to do the same. If you want to trade in these points for entries instead, you can. The "cost" is 10 points per entry. Please send a message to the MySpace Contest page if you choose to do so. If you choose to keep the points, you can use them in the Points Store.

Prize

The winners will be chosen on/around/about December 13, 2008.

All entries will be placed together and 2 winners will be picked in a random drawing. One winner will be picked from the PROMOTERS and one from the RECRUITERS. The more entries you accumulate, the better your chance of winning.

Prize: An autographed poster and a stage used item for both the chosen PROMOTER and RECRUITER.

After adding the SPWC Contest MySpace, just post in their comment section on their MySpace page, letting them know you're done pimping your page. Hope that helps

Also, keep in mind that you have to keep your page pimped for at least 30 days to be considered.

Are those the correct instructions that I would give to someone I am recruiting from myspace?

Yes, that's correct. Also remind them to post who got them to pimp their page (in this case, you) in the comment section also - it's best if they include your username in case there are recruiters with the same first name. They also need at least one approved Sick Puppies item on their page to be considered.
