Meow. My name is Melissa and I'm new to the boards. I'm 26 and hail from San Diego, CA. My music tastes are pretty random, but mostly rock, alternative, emo, and j-rock/j-pop. Fav artists aside from SP are Evanescence, Flyleaf, Utada (Hikaru), and Gackt.

I've been keeping an eye on Sick Puppies since I first saw their Free Hugs video last year. I was stoked when two of my favorite groups were on tour together (Ev and Sick Puppies), so I saw them in concert last November in San Jose, which got my boyfriend hooked on the Puppies... :)

I love how interactive they are with the crowd and their fans. They stayed so long after their set to meet and greet, and meeting them was very awesome. It's making me want to pick up playing Bass (beyond Rock Band, which NEEDS some Sick Puppies!).
