Oh cool, did you see the opening band Human Factors Lab? There guitarist Damien is my band Scattered Light's bassist. Mushroomhead is a good band that should be a lot bigger than they are. And I agree, Mushroomhead and Slipknot are two COMPLETLY different bands.

I absolutely LOVED XX when it came out, I pretty much proclaimed them my favorite band when that album came out. XIII was a disappointment to me, it wasn't a bad album, it just paled in comparison to XX. After that album I gradually lost interest in them. I haven't heard anything by them since J Mann left. Perhaps I should give them another try.

It's probably because this isn't such a metallic forum. The general consensus of this board likes more melody driven rock bands over the beat people against the wall kind of bands I'm sure if I made a thread about Divine Empire or Malevolent Creation people it would end up near Mushroomhead's as well.
