I used to be a huge closet panic fan. I don't like a lot of emo bands out there, but my friend was playing them in his car. At first I was making fun of them (not really giving them a chance, being close minded), but eventually I really liked it. For the longest time I denied liking them to everyone, even my girlfriend. I am since out of the Panic closet.
How were they live? I wouldn't think they would be very good cause they use a lot of synth/samples/drum machine. But of course I could be wrong.
Don't really like their new CD. "We're So Starving" is really catchy, I love it. I like "She's a Handsome Woman" too. But most of it pales in comparison to Fever

I used to be a really big fan. I still really like the first album but for some reason I've just lost interest and don't care to buy the new one. Idk....maybe I will eventually.

I liked them a lot in 7th grade. I kind of grew out of it.
Now I'll only listen to it if it comes on the radio.

i am a fan. but i'm not the biggest fan. my best friend is obessed. i like their first cd better than the new one. i loved them because of the techno beats. but now they sound kind of "beatles"-ish. And i really don't like the beatles

Re: Panic! at the Disco
Whaaaat? xD Well everyone has their own tastes.
Panic's one hell of a band. =] I finally got to see them back towards the end of May for Honda Civic Tour. Amazing! Especially when Brendon came out for one of the encore songs to play 'Time To Dance' acoustically. Made my night.
Of course, I think I'll always love A Fever more than Pretty. Odd, but Odd's definitely not that bad.
I love a few of the songs on that cd... 'That Green Gentleman', 'When The Day Met The Night', 'Mad As Rabbits'...
Buuut most all of their songs from A Fever take my interest a bit more. That's one cd you can listen to all the time and it won't really get that tiring.

Re: Panic! at the Disco
You know... I saw them on tour for A Fever... and it effin ROCKED!!! But I really just wish they never released the second album. I have only been able to listen to it once through and had no desire to repeat it like I usually do. To me, it just seems like a completely different band.... *sigh* Oh well...
