well i'm a huge fan of dream theater aswell! they really rock! :rock:

i still can't beleave that mike portnoy left, but they found a new drummer so i can't wait to hear there new up coming album.
and i hope they are coming soon to here to give a concert, i definitely be there.

is there another fan here??

I love Dream Theater, great band with some amazing ong writing skills. It's not very easy to makre albums well over an hour long with a max of 7 or 8 songs! :laugh:

Figured Id bump this, rather than make a new thread...

I LOVE Dream Theater! The only reason I started playing guitar is because of Shim and John Petrucci.
Those 2 along with Buckethead are my all time favorite guitarists.

Right now I'm working on On The Backs Of Angels. I've got the intro pretty solid, but I'm not very good at pinch harmonics, so I've been working on those. (If you've heard the song you know which part I'm talking about... Right after Labrie sings "Standing on the backs on angels..." there is a PH.

Anyways, just sharin' my Dream Theater enthusiasm!
