Catherine,
I must tell you after meeting them again for the third time (how many bands can you say that about?) YOU ARE COMPLETELY CORRECT....
THEY ARE SICK in a good way! Each time I've met them they have been completely friendly (regardless of how large the crowd was)...They are the same folks and remember WHERE they've come from and how far they have come and WILL GO VERY SOON.

I love Breaking Benjamin. I have all their CD's on my computer except their 1st CD. I hope Ben gets well soon. Is Saturate as good as their other albums.

Saturate is great but I feel like every one of their albums has gotten better and better, each one gets more melodic and heavy at the same time. Bens voice is a little more raw in Saturate and not as melodic, so it's not better or worse I suppose just different then what you're used to on Phobia/Dear Agony.

Saturate is my favorite by them still. I like everything else but I guess its a sentimental thing with Saturate. Shallow Bay is probably my favorite song by them so you definatly need to get that album

Breaking Benjamin is awesomeness. Never have seen them in concert. All I have is every one of their albums and they are all on my iPod. I listen to them every day. My favorite is Dance With The Devil.

So it's finally official that Breaking Benjamin broke up: http://979x.com/rssItem.asp?feedid=166&itemid=29702573

Breaking Benjamin Broke Up Over Song Dispute
Hollywood RecordsFans of Breaking Benjamin have been wondering if the band would ever get back together after lead singer Benjamin Burnley fired bandmates guitarist Aaron Fincke and bassist Mark Klepaski -- known professionally as Aaron Fink and Mark James -- via e-mail in May. But a looming legal battle suggests that's unlikely.

According to court papers examinied by the band’s hometown Wilkes-Barre, PA newspaper The Citizens' Voice, Burnley was upset that Fincke and Klepaski granted permission to use a new recording and remix of the band’s popular song “Blow Me Away” for a greatest hits album in return for a $100,000 payment from their record label. The album is set to hit stores on August 16.

Burnley said that neither his bandmates, their reps, the band’s lawyer or even management told him of the monetary offer. According to a court filing in July, Fincke and Klepaski’s lawyers said that they "dispute and strictly deny" Burnley's allegations. Their lawyers also aren’t sure that Burnley had “cause” under a 2009 partnership agreement to fire Fincke and Klepaski. Furthermore, Fincke and Klepaski’s lawyers argue that the partnership agreement was rendered invalid when Burnley told his fellow bandmates that he was ill and couldn’t play anymore live shows in June 2010.

When Burnley played a few solo acoustic shows last year, rumors began to circulate about the band’s demise. Burnley said in a statement to fans saying that the solo outing “[in] no way means that I have left, or am ever going to leave, Breaking Benjamin.” Burnley is currently fighting to keep ownership of the band’s name and the "exclusive right" to both tour and record as Breaking Benjamin.

PS- Has anyone actually heard the Blow Me Away remix? It's all over Sirius and it is really terrible.

I agree. The new remix SUCKS ASS.

Techically they didn't break up. Ben just fired two members. He can find replacements and continue one. But with his health not getting better, I don't know if he'll even look for new members. :(

Agreed it sucks, but I'm not totally surprised sadly....so basically it's just Ben at this point....

Chad's an awesome drummer though. He's (well...still....) with a band called OurAfter who I've seen a few times at local/national shows. It's always comical though as no one knows the band's name half the time and on promo it's near always "Chad Szeliga's band *large gap in flier/promo ad* OurAfter"

I don't usually buy (it's rare) "best of" albums, but I did grab this. The 2nd CD with the rare/acoustic tracks is awesome. I actually ended up the Depeche Mode cover.

My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.

I'm a fan of Breaking Benjamin. Favourite songs are: Crawl,Dance with the Devil,Give Me A Sign,Had Enough & I Will Not Bow.
Yes, I know most of those songs are from their Dear Agony album. I haven't really been a fan of them for a long time.

Concerts I have attended:
Hilary Duff - 2006
John Mayer - 2010
Marianas Trench - 2011 & 2013
Maroon 5 & Train - 2011
Nickelback - 2012
Our Lady Peace - 2012
Simple Plan - 2012
Little Big Town - 2013
Ziggy Marley - 2013
Jimmie Vaughan - 2013
