I work in the operating room and we are all about music. There are very few doctors who don't like music. Every time someone asks who my favorite band is nobody knows who Sick Puppies are. I always tell them to go look them up! One of my favorite doctors asked to listen to them, I have a coworker coming to a show with me next week, even got another coworker hooked!!! Majority of people now have an idea who Sick Puppies are. They know what to put on Pandora when I'm in the room!! Trying to achieve world domination one operating room at a time!!

I wish the hospital I work at was half that cool! Music is banned where I work because the old people think it's "too distracting". I was one of those college students who wrote papers/studied while blasting music the whole time, I prefer to work with music, so this ban -kills- me. I may ignore it when I work alone on overnights... I'm known to bring an ipod dock with me, hehe. I maintain that I need the music to stay awake
