This song is absolutely enchanting. I love the flow and style and the lyrics themselves... its... I love it. It may be a bold statement as I'm a lover of Maybe, but I think this song may be my new favorite song.

As I said, the song can have many interpretations, because it deals with feeling alone, dying, getting betrayed, and these feelings can apply to any kind relationship, "would that be with your boyfriend/girlfriend, wife or husben, sister or brother, mother of father, that kind of thing"

Something that I immediately found interesting when I first heard this song was not only the lyrics but the very sound of it. The tune and the way Emma began singing felt a bit more...light-hearted, I guess, at first. But then it gets really heavy really suddenly, and in combination with the lyrics it's actually a really dark song. It caught me off-guard. I felt like there was a theme of deception going on, and masking a darker secret with a more light-hearted tone. (I hope that makes sense.)

I think it's a very interesting song and it's definitely a favorite of mine.

When it gets to that all of a sudden hard/dark part does it feel almost like a horror movie theme or is it just me?

I think the effects on the voices definitely give it a creepy feel. And kind of adds to the whole deception thing.

Another thought that I had was it almost sounded like somebody going insane? Like, pretending to be okay on the outside but then on the inside they were losing it, hence the altered voices.

It got a lot of influence on Echoes by Pink Floyd. The whole thing about being on heaven and them dropping to hell it's just what the song sounds like, I recommend you guys to hear it, the whole song.
