SPWC

Hey everyone! New to the boards here! Found it through a friend and am glad that I did! So I attended the Taste Of Minnesota this year, and wow... I knew of Sick Puppies when I was there just never really heard the full CD and after seeing them live, It really changed my life! I was really impressed with the whole thing and now whenever I go anywhere and even at work, We have Sick Puppies playing.. I even went to the extreme to get "Welcome To The Real World" off of eBay! Anways, Back to the point, lol, I met Shim and Emma (Both are really sweet and kind!) and I got pictures with them both and I thought I would share them with you all!

Great pictures! I am so glad you decided to join us here, it's definitely a great place to be! I hope to hear from you more

Believe me, You will see me on here alot more often than the other forum I visit, This forum is very lively and has alot more interaction than I thought it would, so this is like my second family now, lol! And then tonight I convinced someone to come to the next Sick Puppies concert in Duluth, MN! How crazy is that?

That is not crazy at all! In fact, it is pure awesomeness!!!
What other forum to you participate in, if you don't mind me asking?

Well, I used to be a BIG fan of Coheed And Cambria and they have a fan site called Cobalt And Calcium... Well, in all honesty, there was only a couple songs that I could really relate to but then when I bought "Dressed Up As Life" I found that every track was kind of like my life and it went from there. I do have to give big props to the user crystalAN85 for letting me tag along to the Taste Of MN to see SP live cause if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't of really found out about this site, and I'm glad that I found it through her!

Well, where abouts do you live?

*Edited*

She is such a sweetheart! lol! I've known her for 2 1/2 years and she is just really sweet! Like I said, I am glad that I got into the band, It just has helped me out with everything that has happened in my past, and it just helps me also with my writing and gives me more inspiration to get our stuff out

I live in Minneapolis.

Well iwillruletheworld, I can probably pick you up, Message me privately and we'll see what I can do for you!

Oh I think you are awesome already! I think you will fit in JUUUUST fine here!!!

Thanks alot! I mean, like I said, There is just some of my past that still lingers around today and whenever I listen to Shim sing his lyrics, I just realize that my life isn't as bad as it seems, but there are times where I wish things wouldn't of happened the way they did, Anyone know what I mean?

Great pics Dave - glad to have you on the forum!! Looking forward to "seeing" more of you!

Awesome pics dude! Glad to hear you had a great time. The band members are really lovely, aren't they?

Shim looks funny in the pic.

Yeah, I think he does do funny poses with the fans just to show that he's not so serious all the time...
