Here's something that I'd like to know. And one at a time please.

I love listening to the lyrics of a song, to find out it's meaning, and some lyrics, even if they don't make any sense, just stick with me. I love them.

I'd love to find out the lyrics in songs that you like, have fallen in love with, or they just have stuck with you forever.

Again, PLEASE only from one song at a time.

FOR EXAMPLE:

"Don't Wanna Spend My Time Wishin You Were Here..." from 'I Want' - Goldfinger.

"I'm waitin' on the sun to set cause yesterday aint over yet"- Kerosene by Miranda Lambert

shut up and let me see your jazz hands : na na na (na na na na na na na na) by my chemical romance

'Maybe it's time to change' - Maybe by Sick Puppies

I have it tattooed on my left wrist so I am reminded of it every day. It really has helped change my life.

"But I'll do what I wanna do 'cause I wasn't built to lose" - Survive by Sick Puppies

That by far is my favorite lyric. I want to get that as a tattoo someday.

Its cold out this morning and its getting harder to pretend, cant belive its that time of year again
That time of year again
Sick Puppies

I know this one's kinda long, but bear with me here, I just can't stop listening to this song and (judge me and f*** you) start crying cause of how much it relates to my life.

"we've gone too far to give up now
And like a bomb, it all comes out (I like the way that..)
She looks at me like nobody else, like nobody's ever done
She makes me feel like nobody else, like nobody's ever done
And I wanna make her feel like nobody else, like nobody's ever done
And I wanna make her feel like nobody else, like nobody's ever done"

That was from 'Like Nobody Else' by My Darkest Days.

"The door slams, I wake up. Another Illusion I have made of this"
Just Keep Breathing - Automatic Loveletter (I LOVE this song and have been listening to it a lot lately...)

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

one of my all time favorite songs ever

^^^Pretty sure that is Lifehouse - 'Hanging by a Moment'.

For me, I'm not one to have favorites of anything but I just find odd things to like. I'm also not one to attribute some personal meaning to songs. Many times, if a lyric sticks out to me it isn't because of the words, it can just be the way they're said/sung, because I've misheard it and my mind went down the gutter, or somesuch ridiculousness.

I do like a lot of Incubus lyrics (older Incubus, anyway) like 'Make Yourself', 'Favorite Things' and 'Redefine'...and I've always wanted to blare 'Certain Shade of Green' at somebody at a stoplight. Likewise, some early Fuel (like stuff off Sunburn). And you've gotta love Nekrogoblikon and Arlo Guthrie's 'Alice's Restaurant Massacree' just because they're funny. I like that one spoken line in the Gorillaz song 'Double Bass' - "All of which makes me anxious, at times unbearably so."

Strange tastes? Probably.

"Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words" Swing Life Way - Rise Against

Laughing on the outside, body dying on the inside. You know you're a liar.

Liar by It's Alive.

Burning in the Skies - Linkin Park

And the Mario Savio speech at the beginning of Wretches and Kings

I'm so in love with this whole album right now ♥

"It's out of my hands but stuck in my mind, in time I find my spine is crooked in design, and I wanna be so much more, I wanna be so much!" - Rescue Me by Zebrahead

This lyrics is always in my head!!

"I heard the reverberating footsteps
Synching up to the beating of my heart,
And I was positive that unless I got myself together,
I would watch me fall apart.

And I can't let that happen again
'cause then you'll see my heart
In the saddest state it's ever been."

It sounds like something I'd say to my girlfriend, since I haven't hung out with her in a while. Anyways, SONG: Who I Am Hates Who I've Been - Relient K.
