Here's something that I'd like to know. And one at a time please.

I love listening to the lyrics of a song, to find out it's meaning, and some lyrics, even if they don't make any sense, just stick with me. I love them.

I'd love to find out the lyrics in songs that you like, have fallen in love with, or they just have stuck with you forever.

Again, PLEASE only from one song at a time.

FOR EXAMPLE:

I know this one's kinda long, but bear with me here, I just can't stop listening to this song and (judge me and f*** you) start crying cause of how much it relates to my life.

For me, I'm not one to have favorites of anything but I just find odd things to like. I'm also not one to attribute some personal meaning to songs. Many times, if a lyric sticks out to me it isn't because of the words, it can just be the way they're said/sung, because I've misheard it and my mind went down the gutter, or somesuch ridiculousness.

I do like a lot of Incubus lyrics (older Incubus, anyway) like 'Make Yourself', 'Favorite Things' and 'Redefine'...and I've always wanted to blare 'Certain Shade of Green' at somebody at a stoplight. Likewise, some early Fuel (like stuff off Sunburn). And you've gotta love Nekrogoblikon and Arlo Guthrie's 'Alice's Restaurant Massacree' just because they're funny. I like that one spoken line in the Gorillaz song 'Double Bass' - "All of which makes me anxious, at times unbearably so."

Strange tastes? Probably.
